City of Montreal Borough Councils

City of Montreal Borough Councils make decisions and adopt rules and by-laws, including urban planning, road network, permits, culture, and recreation.

According to McGill School ... Urban Planning ... can be described as a technical and political process concerned with the welfare of people, control of the use of land and design of the urban environment.

Because it ensures the movement of passengers and freight, Road Network is a major component of the City of Montreal. Permits and Authorizations are divided into Private Domain, Public Domain, and Sewer & Aqueduct Works, Montreal Arts and Culture are internationally renowned and so are our Sports and Recreation.
