Boroughs Electoral Votes


Boroughs electoral votes in our 19 boroughs and 58 electoral maps revised every four (4) years, one year prior to every general elections that always take place every four (4) years on the first Sunday of November. 

Our last municipal elections took place in November 2017 and, according to Élections Montréal our next municipal election will take place on November 5th, 2021.

Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie Electoral Votes

Four (4) Electoral Districts:

  1. Saint-Édouard
  2. Étienne-Desmarteau
  3. Vieux-Rosemont
  4. Marie-Victorin

On our next municipal election day, we will vote for

  • The mayor of the City of Montreal.

and for the five (5) members of the Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie borough council.

  • The mayor and city councillor of the borough.
  • One (1) city councillor for each of the four (4) electoral districts.

Saint-Laurent Electoral Votes

Two (2) Electoral Districts:

  1. Côte-de-Liesse
  2. Norman-McLaren

On our next municipal election day, we will vote for

  • The mayor of the City of Montreal

and for the seven (7) members of the Saint-Laurent borough council.

  • The mayor and city councillor of the Saint-Laurent borough.
  • One (1) city councillor for each of the two (2) electoral districts.
  • One (1) borough councillor for each of the two (2) electoral districts.
  • One (1) borough councillor for each of the two (2) electoral districts.

Saint-Leonard Boroughs Electoral Votes

Two (2) Electoral Districts:

  1. Saint-Léonard-Est
  2. Saint-Léonard-Ouest

On our next municipal election day, we will vote for

  • the mayor of the City of Montreal

and for the five (5) members of the Saint-Léonard borough council.

  • The mayor and city councillor of the Saint-Léonard borough.
  • One (1) city councillor for each of the two (2) electoral districts.
  • One (1) borough councillor for each of the two (2) electoral districts.

Verdun Electoral Votes

Two (2) Electoral Districts:

  1. Champlain-Île-des-Soeurs
  2. Desmarchais-Crawford

On our next municipal election day, we will vote for

  • the mayor of the City of Montreal

and for the seven (7) members of the Verdun borough council.

  • The mayor and city Councillor of the Verdun borough.
  • One (1) city councillor for each of the two (2) electoral districts.
  • Two (2) borough councillors for each of the two (2) electoral districts.

Ville-Marie Electoral Votes

Three (3) Electoral Districts:

  1. Peter-McGill
  2. Saint-Jacques
  3. Sainte-Marie

On our next municipal election day, we will vote for

  • The mayor of the City of Montreal who is also the mayor of the Ville-Marie borough

and for the six (6) members of the Ville-Marie borough council.

  • The mayor of the borough.
  • One (1) city councillor for each of the three (3) electoral districts.
  • Two (2) city councillors chosen by the mayor among the members of the Montreal City Council.

Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension Electoral Votes

Four (4) Electoral Districts:

  1. Saint-Michel
  2. François-Perrault
  3. Villeray
  4. Parc-Extension

On our next municipal election day, we will vote for

  • The mayor of the City of Montreal

and for the five (5) members of the Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension borough council.

  • The mayor and city councillor of the Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension borough
  • One (1) city councillor for each of the four (4) electoral districts of the borough.
