A Visit at the Pond
in our Botanical Garden officially called Space for Life

"built in 1938 according to Henry Teuscher’s plans, the garden fosters close contact with the plants by way of the sunken paths among the ponds that place these at eye level".

Ponds are usually smaller and shallower than lakes, They have plants growing on the bottom from one side to the other and most are less than six or seven feet deep.
